United States History Since 1877 Test Bank |
13-digit ISBN: 978-0-9835171-4-6 High school students in Texas are required to pass the STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) Test in United States History since 1877. Our U.S. History Test Bank is designed to help you meet the need for high-quality, STAAR-type items based on the TEKS for United States History since 1877. Our U.S. History Test Bank has 1,200 questions. The test bank comes with a classification of test item difficulty-level by Dr. Rosemary Morrow, dual coding (content and skills), an MS Word version, and bookmarking capability, just like our Grade 8 Social Studies Test Bank. The U.S. History Test Bank is organized to follow the TEKS. Each TEKS, found in a gray box at the top of a page, begins a new section. The questions run the gamut from easy to challenging –– both in content and cognitive complexity. They also cover all of the performance level descriptors from Level I to Level III (“Advance Academic Performance”). Each TEKS appears in order and each new TEKS begins on a separate page. (The TEKS appear in the same order as in the Texas Standards, and not as they appear in the TEA’s Assessed Curriculum booklet.) Each question is designed to test student mastery of a specific TEKS. These questions are all different from those found in Jarrett Publishing Company’s popular book Mastering the TEKS in United States History Since 1877. Our test bank questions provide you with a true snapshot for diagnostic purposes of what your students already know and what they still need to learn. They can also give your students valuable practice in answering questions they have not seen before, in order to help them to prepare for the STAAR test. Perhaps most important of all, you will find maps, documentary excerpts, photographs, and diagrams are included as part of many questions –– just like those on the actual STAAR End-of-Course Test. If your district decides to purchase a license, the use of these test bank items is licensed by us to your district in perpetuity, but only for use within your district. You are not lawfully permitted to share these items outside your district. We will ask your district to sign a licensing agreement to this effect. Remember that your district is paying for the use of these items not just for this year, but for every year in the future. The cost of the test bank comes to just pennies per student! The United States History Test Bank is sold on a district basis only. The price of the test bank is based on the most recent TEA “Snapshot” of your district’s population, which is available at this link: https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/snapshot/2016/district.srch.html Please bear in mind that this is based on your district’s total population size, not just its Grade 11 population or enrollment in U.S. History.
